Thought Working Group Summer School Completed

The Thought Working Group, which organized its first summer school last year within ISAR Research Center, held its second summer school this year with the title “The Concept of Possibility in Islamic Thought”. In the summer school, which started on July 1 and ended on July 31, a reading was conducted by Prof. Eşref Altaş. The main themes of Islamic philosophy such as possibility, causality and hudus were discussed on the axis of Ibn Sina and Fahreddin al-Razi's texts. Prof. Ayhan Çitil also contributed to the discussion and it was seen how the themes discussed have reflections in Western philosophy.
