INSTITUTIONAL

Mission & Vision

The primary goal of ISAR is to support outstanding undergraduate and graduate students in line with the requirements of the modern world. As a result of this support, scholars who have thoroughly absorbed the scientific tradition of the East, closely follow scientific developments in the West, and are concerned with the issues facing our society will be trained. It is hoped that the students supported by ISAR will be equipped to offer effective and qualified solutions to the cultural and social problems facing our country and the world. In this context, it is desired that our students master their fields to the extent that they can conduct academic work at an international level and represent our culture appropriately throughout the world.

History

History

Since its establishment in late 2009, ISAR has been conducting seminars and research activities at its building in Üsküdar. The rationale behind ISAR's establishment is based on the belief that the needs of a globalizing world require a new approach to the training of scholars. The goal of this new scientific approach is to produce solutions to the cultural, intellectual, and social problems of today's world. The ability of scholars pursuing this objective to provide effective and fundamental solutions to the issues they encounter depends on their proficiency in both our own historical, intellectual, and scientific heritage and modern social and human sciences. ISAR was established with the aim of imparting knowledge in both fields to the students it supports under its umbrella, based on this reality.
