Viziership in Ottoman Political Thought Workshop Organized

The studies of the Ottoman Political Thought Reading Group, which is carried out within the body of ISAR Research Center, were shared with the participants at the workshop titled “Viziership in Ottoman Political Thought” and opened for discussion. In the workshop, the role of the viziership in Ottoman political thought and its transformation were discussed comprehensively by scrutinizing the rich literature on political thought that intersects with various disciplines such as fiqh, mysticism and ethics from the classical period to the 18th century.
